Donald Robert Morrison was a bookseller, stationer and Lerwick Town Councillor between 1899 and 1905.
Biography
Donald moved to Shetland with his family around 1870, with his father Hector opening a bookseller/stationery business in Lerwick. He first served as an apprentice in the office of the Shetland Times, before joining his father's business, H. Morrison & Son. He continued with the business after the death of his father in 1903.
He was part of the first football team in Lerwick captained by Alex Mitchell.
