Allan Roy was a land surveyor, factor to the Gardie estate, hotel proprietor and a Zetland County Councillor for Bressay from 1922 and 1929. He unsuccessfully contested the Bressay seat in the 1929 County Council election.
Biography
He ran the Towers Private Hotel in Ballater for 20 years with his sister.
