Michael William Stout is a Shetland Islands Councillor, representing the Lerwick North ward since 2012.
Biography
Michael descended from Fair Isle, but moved with his family to Bressay in 2000. He worked for COPE Ltd and was the manager of Shetland Alcohol Trust, as well as being a self-employed sound engineer and technician for the Shetland Arts. He worked in Devon for a short period.
He was a strong opponent of the Viking Energy windfarm
He was a member of the band Hom Bru.
