Donald George Sutherland was an author and County Councillor for Delting North between 1952 and 1955.
Biography
Donald attended the Ulsta school in Yell as a boy and later in Lerwick. He qualified as an accountant and worked for many years in Dunfermline. When he returned to Shetland, he worked for AQS and Pearson & Tawse. He was a regular participant at the Althing.
