Eustace George Lowenthal Bankart was a farmer, stuff merchant and County Councillor.
Biography
The Shetland Archives has a record of a police report against Bankart for accidentally poisoning three dogs, and a subsequent letter of apology from him .
His death was registered by James Grierson and his remains were taken south on the Ninian. He was eventually buried back in Bolton.
