William Gray 'Willie' Thomson was briefly a County Councillor for Unst North between 1973 and 1975, He unsuccessfully contested the Unst seat at the inaugural Shetland Islands Council election in 1974.
Biography
He worked for the council most of his life and was the first chair of the Lerwick Community Council, in the 1970's.
