Robert Arthur Cumming Garrick was a merchant seaman and County Councillor for Aithsting between 1961 and 1973. He unsuccessfully contested the Aithsting seat at the 1973 County Council election and the Aithsting & Sandsting seat at the inaugural Shetland Islands Council election in 1974.
