Reverend David Gray was the United Free Church Reverend for Burra and a County Councillor for the same constituency first from 1890 to 1892 then again from 1893 to 1898
Biography
Upon completing his education in Fife, he attended Edinburgh University where he studied divinity. Upon graduation, he became a missionary in Maryhill, Glasgow. He was ordained on 12 June 1884 and served the Burra United Free Church until his death.
Though a Liberal in politics, he did not support the Liberal Party during William Gladstone's Home Rule for Ireland measure.
