Reverend George Clark was a minister for the Free Kirk in Cunningsburgh from 11 September 1875 to 1900, then United Free Kirk from 1900 until 23 May 1908. He was also a County Councillor for Cunningsburgh from 1890 until 1896.
Biography
Clark was a supporter of the local crofters and working men in Cunningsburgh. He successfully abetted Sinclair T. Duncan in defending the whalers in the Hoswick Whale Case, and also testified in the Napier Commission in 1883.
